howto fix: ubuntu update errore – The following signatures were invalid

se quando effettuate un aggiornamento sul vostro linux/ubuntu da terminale con il comando:

sudo apt-get update

ottenete un errore del genere:

GPG error: http://archive.ubuntu.com precise Release: The following signatures were 
invalid: BADSIG 40976EAF437D05B5 Ubuntu Archive Automatic Signing Key 
<ftpmaster@ubuntu.com>

potete ripristinare la situazione eseguendo i seguenti comandi da terminale:

cd /var/lib/apt
sudo mv lists lists.old
sudo mkdir -p lists/partial
sudo apt-get update
